National Theatre of Scotland/BBC - Scenes for Survival

As part of the NTS/BBC - Scenes for Survival Project, Stasi Directed ‘Dreaming of Edinburgh’ from The Breathing House by Peter Arnott. This scene performed by Molly Vevers was filmed in isolation and rehearsed over Zoom. It examines secret desires in isolation and plays with the parallels between the present and Victorian era. The power of Five

Butterfly kiss is back!

Lesbos

I Love you in Danish (Jeg Elsker dig)

Stasi directs her 10th A Play, A Pie and A Pint with I Love You in Danish as the 1st show of the mini-musical season.  Written by Dave Anderson, this musical tells the tale of love at the start of WWII and warns of the rise of fascism. The show opens on 29 May and runs until 3 June. Dear Scott, Dearest Zelda

On 24 March 2017, Stasi will be directing Dear Scott, Dearest Zelda at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland at 1pm as part of the Fridays at 1 series.  Co-produced with RCS Principal, Professor Jeffrey Sharkey, this piece uses letters, reading and music (string and piano trio and jazz vocalist) of the era to examine the relationship of F. Lifelines at Luminate Festival

Jan Tait and the Bear

Butterfly Kiss strikes again! Further Glasgow dates announced for June of 2014, including a celebratory performance for Heineken Brewery Employees.

 

Stasi's production of Butterfly Kiss will be revived for a Scottish tour.  Written by Dave Anderson and featuring Dave, Katie Barnett and Jack Mullen this touching coming of age seashore musical is touring to venues within the Central belt.  All performances (except matinee) will feature a musical set by Dave.
